{"id":1428,"date":"2011-04-18T19:57:51","date_gmt":"2011-04-18T23:57:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/moonblossom.net\/blog\/?p=1428"},"modified":"2011-04-18T19:57:51","modified_gmt":"2011-04-18T23:57:51","slug":"orizuru-haori","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/moonblossom.net\/blog\/2011\/04\/orizuru-haori\/","title":{"rendered":"Orizuru Haori"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve already posted photos of me <a title=\"A Thousand Paper Cranes\" href=\"http:\/\/moonblossom.net\/blog\/2011\/04\/a-thousand-paper-cranes\/\">wearing<\/a> this particular item, but it really needs a proper entry to showcase it. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.net-shinei.co.jp\/com\/index.php\">Shinei <\/a>was having a huge sale and I saw this and really fell in love with it. In the photos, it looked like a modern piece &#8211; heavy silk, relatively &#8220;standard&#8221; proportions. When it arrived I was shocked at how old it was it was, evident in the length of both the body and the sleeves, as well as the brightly patterned lining. It&#8217;s incredibly lush and thick, and the cranes are so vivid. The lining is also exceptional. I am not generally fond of karako (stylized playing children) but since it&#8217;s mostly hidden I am actually quite fond of them in this case.
